The LineRes Application for Calculations of Stable Laser Cavities


The LineRes application is designed to calculate stable two-mirror laser cavities with a lens inside. Allows you to build a laser beam caustic, calculates its characteristics (the size of the field on the mirrors and in the lens, as well as in an arbitrary laser cavity transverse section; power focusing in any beam transverse section inside the laser cavity). In addition, it allows you to calculate the divergence of radiation depending on the focal power of the lens. The calculation is carried out both for the TEM00 mode and for the entire beam. For the TEM00 mode and the Hermite-Gauss modes 01...22 the aperture losses are calculated for a complete round-trip of the laser cavity depending on the focal power of the lens.




For users of the SintRes application

It's possible to quickly vary the parameters of the laser cavity with the display of the results "on the fly" in the LineRes application, so this application included the main feature of the SintRes laser cavities synthesis application.


The application was tested under Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 10 and under ReactOS.
